Program Notes

Before Hitler's rise to power and Europe's Nazi-enforced system of racial profiling, a powerful group was hard at work to create a racial purification plan in the United States. WAR AGAINST THE WEAK is the sinister history of eugenics, arguably the most dangerous pseudoscience of all time, conceived by American scientists and put into practice in the United States for the greater part of the twentieth century. Eugenics gained an unimaginably powerful support base in America before heading abroad and becoming the fodder for "Mein Kampf." Borrowing the art and language of a deranged movement, WAR AGAINST THE WEAK is a haunting, terrifying and unforgettable illustration of extreme intolerance.

Expected to be in attendance:  Director Jason Stawhand and Producer Pete Demas
