In the early nineteenth century, Van Diemen's Land (later Tasmania) is a brutal place, home to a British penal colony where back-breaking work is the daily routine. Jonathan grew up in Tasmania and has held a long time ambition to bring infamous convict Alexander Pearceís story to the screen, and embarked on study at the VCA School of Film and Television (University of Melbourne) to develop the necessary skills. An experienced actor, Jonathan has performed with many Tasmanian and Victorian companies and appeared in film and television.
