A sensitive portrait of a damaged soul, SURROGATE delicately explores the profoundly personal course of psychological recovery. Suffering from deep-seated sexual trauma, Eily seeks a highly unusual form of therapy to help him overcome wounds that prevent him from experiencing any kind of intimacy. While therapy is the first step toward recovery, Eily's peace is not immediate and his journey proves rocky and more complex than he ever could have imagined.
