A salesman approaches a mysterious landowner with an offer to buy the man’s smoldering abandoned coal mines but finds that there is more at stake than the land.

Eric Scherbarth currently attends the graduate film program at Columbia University in New York studying writing and directing. Sinkhole, his thesis film, had its world premiere in the Filmmakers of Tomorrow Program at the 2009 Telluride Film Festival. Eric is currently working on laying the groundwork for his first feature film.
