Eva and Vidar have decided to take their relationship to the next level by moving in together. COMMITTED is a subtle portrait of young love on the cusp of maturity from the director of the Icelandic Academy Award-nominated short FAMILY REUNION.

Isold Uggadottir is an Icelandic filmmaker based in New York City.  Her directorial debut, FAMILY REUNION, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007, and subsequently collected 9 festival awards, as well as an Icelandic Academy Award nomination for Best Short Film.

 

Isold was named ÔøΩ one of the rising stars of Icelandic filmÔøΩ by Screen International/Feb08, Nordic Edition. She currently pursues an MFA in writing and directing at Columbia University, where she is developing a feature.
