Popcorn Please!
One thing that we're known for at Tribeca Cinemas,aside from our instantly recognizable marquee location, is our popcorn. We can't begin to count the times that people have knocked on our door in response to the aroma while getting ready for a screening or special event.
There are a few things that make our popcorn memorable, but what is it that inspires New York City passerby to come in off of the street to inquire about our recipe?
The ingredients are a closely guarded secret, but one thing that differentiates us is the fact that we do not offer extra butter. What you see is what you get, and what you get are deliciously popped and seasoned kernels of goodness! We've got it down to a science. The interest in our popcorn got us thinking...what exactly is it about Tribeca Popcorn that tastes so darned good? We like to think it's the combination of great ingredients and a warhorse of a machine that we like to call by it's proper name: The Macho Pop.
Of course our festival clients always offer popcorn to their audiences, but did you know that you can add popcorn and soda to your private screening as well? A lot of private screening rooms in NYC are...well, let's face it, a bit stuffy. At Tribeca Cinemas, we love the opportunity to offer our clients a true movie theater experience. In our opinion, that starts with top-notch projection capabilities. But popcorn comes in a close second! Our clients love to add a concessions package to their private screening rentals, so don't forget to ask about it if you're booking with us!
